Shine Bright for Blaire Scholarships

In January of 2020, our sweet friend Blaire Nicole Krekel got her angel wings. Blaire took her first dance class at Inspire at just 18 months old, and she loved every second of her two seasons in Mini Movers. Blaire was so loved by everyone at Inspire, and we miss her every single day. We miss her bright smile and infectious energy in dance class. We miss her reading, giggling, and playing with friends in the lobby. Blaire was such a bright light who brought joy to everyone around her.

In Blaire’s memory, her parents Brooke and Dan, along with Blaire’s brother Benjamin and her sister Brynn (who is a member of our Elevate Dance Company), have created the Blaire Krekel Shine Bright Foundation. As part of this project, the family is providing scholarships for young dancers at Inspire who share the spark and magic for dance that Blaire had.

On June 9, we will be awarding tuition scholarships to Inspire dancers on behalf of The Blaire Krekel Shine Bright Foundation. The recipients have been chosen by Inspire teachers. We are honored and delighted to have an opportunity to spread Blaire’s story, her light, and her love of dance to other members of our dance community.
