Makeup is not required for Showcase, but it is highly recommended to help dancers’ facial features stand out under bright stage lights. Even minimal makeup can make a big difference in enhancing expressions for the audience.

For our younger dancers, a touch of red lipstick and blush is perfect!

For dancers ages 9 and up, we recommend:

• Red lipstick
• Blush
• Earth tone eyeshadows
• Black eyeliner and mascara

Below, we have linked Sephora products that we use for our Elevate Dance Company, and that we know look good on stage. However, these are simply recommendations – we do not have any specific Showcase makeup requirements.
