Tickets
Showcase tickets are required for all attending spectators, and allow entry for festival seating – you do not need to worry about purchasing specific seats for family members, as you will choose your seats on the day of the event. We are fortunate that IKEA is a fantastic, small theatre with great visibility from all seats. Young children who are able to sit on a lap for the entirety of the performance do not need a ticket. Performing dancers do NOT need a ticket.
Right now, we are able to release 4 tickets per family for each performance. Your card on file will automatically be charged $60 on May 5 for 4 tickets ($15 per ticket). If you want all 4 tickets, you don’t need to do anything. If you need fewer than 4 tickets, you are NOT required to purchase 4 – just email and let us know how many tickets you need, and we will adjust your account accordingly.
Need more than 4 tickets? After the first round of ticket purchases, we will be able to determine how many seats remain in the theater for each show. Starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, May 12 (Add to Google Calendar), families can email our office to request additional tickets – first come, first served, as long as tickets remain.
We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all requests for additional tickets. We anticipate that some shows will sell out quickly, as we do not have a large number of additional seats beyond the 4 assigned to each participating family.
If your dancer or dancers are performing in multiple shows, you will not be required to purchase tickets for each show. The $60 for your first four tickets (or fewer, if you don’t need 4) will be charged to your account, and an additional 4 tickets for each show your dancer(s) is performing in will be set aside for your family. Additional tickets beyond the initial 4 per show can be purchased for $15 apiece.
During the last week of classes (May 19-24), physical tickets will be handed out at the end of each class. You can also pick tickets up at the front desk during the last week of classes, or during Picture/Dress Rehearsal days. Make sure to distribute tickets to all your guests who will be attending – you MUST have a ticket to enter the theater on the day of the show.
Please email us if you have any questions about tickets or if you need to adjust the number of tickets your family is receiving.
